EL RETORNO DE LA DIOSA

A continuación os dejo un vídeo muy interesante, en el que participan multitud de personalidades de los más variados campos del conocimiento, que pone el acento en la activación del arquetipo de la Diosa (el interés por el estudio de la naturaleza, los ciclos vitales, la realización de la mujer, el materialismo, la crisis de valores morales son algunas manifestaciones de la constelación del arquetipo de la Diosa) en los tiempos en que vivimos.

Living Planet Report 2012. SUMMARY

1. Nature is the basis of our well-being and our prosperity.
2. Biodiversity has declined globally by around 30 per cent between 1970 and 2008; by 60 per cent in the tropics.
3. Demand on natural resources has doubled since 1966 and we are currently using the equivalent of 1.5 planets to support our activities. 
4. High-income countries have a footprint five times greater than that of low-income countries.
5. Areas of high biodiversity provide important ecosystem services such as carbon storage, fuel wood, freshwater flow and marine fish stocks.
6. The loss of biodiversity and related ecosystem services particularly impacts the world’s3 poorest peoples who rely most directly on these services to survive.
7. “Business as usual” projections estimate that we will need the equivalent of two planets by 2030 to meet our annual demands. 
8. Natural capital – biodiversity, ecosystems and ecosystem services – must be preserved and, where necessary, restored as the foundation of human economies and societies.
9. Wwf’s one planet perspective proposes how to manage, govern and share natural capital within the earth’s ecological limits.
10. We can reduce our footprint by producing more with less, and consuming better, wiser and less.
